Sports Development

Research students on the MSc Sports Development usually have 2 internal supervisors with specialist knowledge of their subject areas and have regular meetings with them for advice, monitoring and other support. Where appropriate, additional advisers may also be utilised. Research students also contribute to the School�s internal seminar series and may also be able to contribute to undergraduate teaching. The active research base in the School ensures that staff are involved in current debates and that students are made aware of new developments and issues in the field of sports development.

Entry requirements

A good Honours degree in sport. exercise, coaching science or a related subject.

Assessment methods

All programmes require the presentation of a thesis and an oral examination.
