Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management
The course aims to produce effective leaders, with a clear understanding of how to apply entrepreneurial principles and methods within organisations. In particular you will gain: knowledge of the principles and current issues relevant to businesses; the skills needed to start your own businesses or to become an entrepreneur; effective tactical and strategic management skills, with a focus on smaller businesses; information technology skills, including the use of financial and statistical software.
Core modules: Applied business research methods; entrepreneurship and business creation; marketing management; managing finance; entrepreneurial decision making; strategic organization; entrepreneurial marketing; strategic business analysis; dissertation; optional modules: government and business; social enterprise; consumer behaviour.
