Digital Business Enterprise Management

This programme provides you with a wide range of specialist skills and knowledge in Digital Business Enterprise Management, and includes the opportunity to develop operations management skills. You can apply your newly acquired knowledge in this subject area through the main project which could be research based or industry linked - the latter providing exposure to contemporary digital business enterprise practices. The Digital Business Enterprise Management programme has been designed by one of the UK's leading research groups in Digital Business and Operations and Supply Chain Management. As a Digital Business Enterprise Management student you will also be offered the opportunity to obtain the highly regarded SAP TERP10 certification.

Entry requirements

Normally a university degree in Management, Engineering, Science or related disciplines at 2:1 standard from a UK university, or an equivalent academic qualification from a similar non-UK institution is required. Non-graduates with very extensive professional experience and/or other prior qualifications may also be considered.

Compulsory modules: Business analysis and assessment; e-business tools and technologies; e-business systems; e-business strategy; e-business enterprise system with Sap. Optional modules: Operations modelling and simulation; supply chain operations management; strategic operations management; project and portfolio management in organisations; big data management; strategic purchasing management; maritime logistics; lean thinking; logistics and physical distribution; data mining and machine learning; big data analytics for business; MSc project; mini-project.
