This course provides training in cutting-edge techniques, encompassing genomics, proteomics and bioinformatics. Students will gain hands-on experience of next-generation sequencing andmass spectrometry, and learn basic computer programming, scripting and statistics for analysing large data sets. Research projects are available within internationally recognised laboratories.
1st or Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant subject (life sciences, computer science, mathematical sciences); 2.2 degrees are considered in combination with relevant professional experience; all applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5.
