Research interests can be summarised as trials of complex interventions in primary care and developing understanding and models of complex or intractable behaviours and phenomena in primary care and community settings. There are major projects in progress in primary care, mental health, palliative care, the impact of new technologies, public professional interface in healthcare planning and fitness for work.
A good (2.1 or 1st Class) Honours degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent) is normally required. Criminal record checks may be necessary.
