Students undertake 1 to 3 research projects; for each, they are given time to carry out literature searches before and during the experimental work, and to write up and make a poster and an oral presentation to the school at the end of the project; students are given the freedom to choose their research project depending on their strand of interest after talking to staff involved in the programme; during the course of the project students are encouraged to suggest experiments, design experimental protocols, as well as being taught specific techniques and advanced knowledge transferrable skills.
2.2 Class degree in anatomy, cell biology, pharmacology, physiology or a related discipline; or a previous MRes or MSc; or a medical, veterinary or dental qualification; IELTS 7.0 with a minimum of 7.0 in each component; TOEFL iBT 88 or above with minimum scores in components as follows: Listening and Writing 21, Reading � 22, Speaking 23; International Baccalaureate Standard Level 5; Hong Kong use of English AS level C; INDIA Standard XII 70% or above (from the following boards when education has been completed in English Medium: CBSE, CISCE, West Bengal, Karnataka, Maharashtra & Tamil Nadu boards); WAEC C6.
