Simulation in Aerospace Engineering
Students develop an advanced knowledge of key aerospace engineering simulation techniques including: Computational fluid dynamics; computational structural analysis; computer-aided design; flight dynamics and control; flight simulation; reduction and analysis of data. Students study a range of commercial packages and state-of-the art facilities for parallel computing, piloted flight simulation, and wind-tunnel experiments.
A lower 2nd Class degree in a relevant area of study; all applicants must have reached a minimum requirement of English language (GCSE, GCE O level, AS level, A level or IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 23O computer based).
The project is examined by dissertation and presentation.
