You will develop your research skills primarily by completing a project under supervision. This will include data collection; manipulation of the data; data interpretation and modelling; critical analysis; literature surveys and presentation skills, through international conferences.
A 2.1 Honours degree in an appropriate field of study. Equivalent overseas degrees together with an acceptable English language qualification are also accepted. All applicants must have reached a minimum required standard of English language, qualifications accepted include GCSE English; A-level English Language; IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component). TOEFL iBT 88 or above with minimum scores in components as follows: listening and writing 21, reading 22, speaking 23.
