Human Resource Management
This course focuses on the social and psychological processes operating in organizations. Drawing on current and classic theory and research, the course enables you to understand organizations and develop ways of improving them.
An Honours degree in any subject from an institution acceptable to the University; high level of English language ability in reading, writing and study skills.
Modules include: Organisational analysis; organisational research; issues in human resource management; employment relations; international human resource management; practices in human resource management.
Assessment is by a two-hour unseen written paper. Professional Development and Learning is assessed with written coursework. The Research Project is assessed by a 10,000 word scientific report. The Research Project is available to MSc students only.
