This course is a preparation for managing and advising public sector organisations; there is an emphasis on managing people, managing change and designing and using information systems.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have a recognised UK Bachelor's degree, or international equivalent, in a social science discipline; qualifications in other subjects are assessed on their merits; students application may be considered if their previous education and experience are acceptable, equivalent to a degree-level qualification, which includes suitable preliminary training.

Modules include: Public policy and management: perspectives and issues; human resource management and development; management information and information systems; managing organisational change; public policy and management: development assistance.
