Pollution and Environmental Control

The programme is designed to meet the growing need, internationally, for scientists who are able to understand and solve environmental problem; the programme consists of a 7-month taught component and a 5-month project; the taught component has a broad core covering concepts of pollution damage and economics, research methods and analytical techniques; students then specialise in: Environmental; earth, water or atmospheric sciences; engineering; regulation.

Entry requirements

A 1st degree (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) in a scientific or technological discipline; 1st degrees in other subject areas or people with degree-equivalent qualifications may also be considered; IELTS 6.5.

Sponsorship information

Part-funding via Emergency Services Funding (ESF) scholarships is available some years.
