Structural and Petrological Geoscience

Research is directed toward high-pressure and temperature experimental, field-based and theoretical studies of topics of fundamental significance to lithospheric processes; the group runs 2 laboratories; 1 for high experimental petrology, and the other for rock deformation studies.

Entry requirements

A 1st degree (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) in physics, chemistry, environmental science or a related discipline; for students whose 1st language is not English IELTS 6.5 is required.
