Petroleum Geoscience for Reservoir Development and Production

These courses are designed to give you a broad training in petroleum geology, geophysics and an introduction to reservoir engineering. They will prepare you for employment as geologists, geophysicists, or a more specialist career as a petrophysicist, basin analyst or operations geologist.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering or related discipline. Work experience may also be taken into account.

Course modules

Modules include: Reservoir engineering fundamentals; development group project; integrated subsurface description; independent research project; communication skills and fieldwork; field depletion planning; key interpretation skills; play fairway analysis.
