Paper Science

The Paper Science research programmes are part of a dynamic research area within the school. We have close links with industry and much of our research impacts directly on current industry practice. Our academic team are highly rated within the paper science sector, and are regarded as experts in their field.

Entry requirements

Applicants require: MPhil/MSc by research: a 2.2 Honours degree, or equivalent in a science or engineering subject; PhD: a 2.1 Honours or equivalent 1st degree in a science or engineering subject; IELTS (6.5 with no sub-test under 5.5); TOEFL (570 with 5.0 in TWE); CBTOEFL (230 with 5.0 in TWE).
