Ceramics and Glasses
The course is part of a progressive research area within the school; research is concerned with the processing, characterisation and applications of structural and functional ceramic materials.
Applicants require: MPhil/MSc by Research: a 2.2 Honours degree, or equivalent in a science or engineering subject; PhD: a 2.1 Honours or equivalent 1st degree in a science or engineering subject; IELTS (6.5 with no sub-test under 5.5); TOEFL (570 with 5.0 in TWE); computer based TOEFL (230 with 5.0 in TWE).
Assessment is by a research project.
