Nanostructured Materials

The course is part of a large and multidisciplinary activity within the School of Materials; current research interests in this area include: Nanoporous substrates for tissue engineering; nanostructured surfaces for improved environmental resistance; nanoengineering using lasers; polymer nanocomposites.

Entry requirements

Applicants require: MPhil/MSc by research: a 2.2 Honours degree, or equivalent in a science or engineering subject; PhD: a 2.1 Honours or equivalent 1st degree in a science or engineering subject; IELTS (6.5 with no sub-test under 5.5); TOEFL (570 with 5.0 in TWE); CBTOEFL (230 with 5.0 in TWE).
