This course is the study of algorithms that use numerical approximation for the problems of mathematical analysis.
Applicants would be expected to have a 1st or 2.1 Honours degree and an MSc Merit or Distinction in a mathematical subject; in some research areas a background in physics, engineering or computer science is also acceptable.
