Construction Project Management

The programme develops a critical understanding of the factors that influence construction project management within the context of, and applied to, construction projects.

Entry requirements

A 2nd Class UK Honours degree; preferably an upper 2nd, or international equivalent, in a relevant subject, such as built environment, engineering, technical or management disciplines; IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all skills), TOEFL 570 (with a minimum of 5.0 in the TWE), or TOEFL 230 (computer-based, with a minimum of 5.0 in the TWE).

Course modules

Modules include: Commercial management; management of projects; people and organisation; project planning and control; project management research methods; optional and directed course units include: business projects involving IS/IT; commercial contract management; conflict management and dispute resolution; project finance; risk management.

Sponsorship information

Charles Marks Award: 1 scholarship is available to the value of $5,000 to American students registered on any of the full time Master of Science courses in the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering; this award is not available to students on part-time or distance learning courses.
