Engineering Project Management

The programme develops a critical understanding of the factors that influence engineering management within the context of, and applied to, engineering projects.

Entry requirements

The academic entry requirement for this Master's programme is a minimum Second Class UK honours degree- preferably an Upper Second Class- or international equivalent in a relevant subject, such as the built environment, engineering, science or management disciplines.
English language requirements: IELTS: overall score 6.5, with 6.5 in reading and no sub-test below 6.0 or BT TOEFL: overall score of at least 90, with no sub-test below 22

Course modules

Modules include: Management of Projects, People and Organisations, Project Management and Research Methods, Project Planning and Control, Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution, Project Finance for Infrastructure Projects, Environmental Assessment Innovation Management, Risk Management, Contract Management.

Sponsorship information

Charles Marks Award: 1 scholarship is available to the value of $5,000 to American students registered on any of the full time Master of Science courses in the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering; this award is not available to students on part-time or distance learning courses.
