Thermal Power and Fluid Engineering

The programme is suitable for engineering and science graduates and also engineering professionals who wish to enhance their expertise in engineering thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer; and develop their competence the use of analytical and also state-of-the-art computational and experimental methods in the analysis of heat and fluid flow systems for both industrial and research applications; students develop specialist knowledge in advanced understanding of heat and fluid flow processes and their role in modern methods of power generation; and in-depth understanding of numerical and experimental techniques in heat and fluid flow.

Entry requirements

The standard academic entry requirement for this Master's programme is a Second Class UK honours degree, or international equivalent, in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
English requirements: IELTS greater than or equal to 6.5 or equivalent (with no sub-test less than 5.5) or IBT TOEFL greater than or equal to 90 (with no sub-test below 22)
