Mechanical Engineering Design
The course provides students with the latest technological knowledge in the mechanical engineering design field.
A Lower 2nd UK Honours degree, or international equivalent, in a relevant science or engineering discipline; IELTS 6.5 (with no sub test less than 5.5), TOEFL 570 with 5.0 in the TWE (computer-based 230 or above or internet-based 88-89 or above).
Modules include: Engineering design; reliability and maintainability; finite element; research method. Optional modules: advanced vibration; composites; elasticity; impact and explosion engineering; plasticity.
Charles Marks Award: 1 scholarship is available to the value of $5,000 to American students registered on any of the full time Master's courses in the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering; this award is not available to students on part-time or distance learning courses.
