Mechanical Engineering Design

The course provides students with the latest technological knowledge in the mechanical engineering design field.

Entry requirements

The standard academic entry requirement for this Master's programme is a minimum Second Class UK Honours degree or international equivalent in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
English requirements: IELTS greater than or equal to 6.5 or equivalent (with no sub-test less than 5.5) or IBT TOEFL greater than or equal to 90 (with no sub-test below 22)

Modules include: Mechanical Engineering Group Design, Finite Element Modelling, Research Methods, Experimental Methods, Robotics Metrology and Bioengineering, Structural Integrity, Composites and Polymers, Advanced Vibrations and Aero-acoustics

Sponsorship information

Charles Marks Award: 1 scholarship is available to the value of $5,000 to American students registered on any of the full time Master's courses in the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering; this award is not available to students on part-time or distance learning courses.
