Applicants require: Equivalent of a 1st Class or upper 2nd Class Honours UK Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree or equivalent qualification, or both; some areas of study may require a Master's level qualification in a relevant discipline for admission to a PhD; other professional qualifications and/or relevant and appropriate experience also considered; those without the typical entry requirement (eg, with a 2.2 degree) may be admitted to the degree of MPhil in the 1st instance and may progress onto the PhD programme, depending upon performance.
