Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations
This course analyses policies and practices used in the management of people at work; provides a basic theoretical foundation for the study of human resource management and industrial relations as well as a contemporary analysis of changing employment practices both in the UK and international settings; course also provides grounding in research methods which can be applied either in the business world or in academic research.
An Honours degree, or equivalent; overseas applicants may need to take the GMAT test.
Modules include: Human resource management; employment policy and practice; industrial relations; employment law; research methodology.
Assessment is by a dissertation.
