Global Business Analysis

This course focuses on real international business issues and how to solve them. The course puts emphasis on the exploration of implications of divergent international arenas to multinational firms in a comparative manner; it is a unique interdisciplinary degree focusing on the latest thinking in comparative international management. Students explore the operation of multinational enterprises and undertake comparative business analysis, while gaining the practical skills necessary to work efficiently in an international business environment; alongside a thorough understanding of business analysis and development.

Entry requirements

A 1st or Upper 2nd Class Honours degree, or the overseas equivalent, in any discipline.

Course modules

Modules include: Managing across competing capitalist systems; global politics and global business; analysing companies - business models, narrative and numbers; designing organisations - an international perspective; technology, innovation management and business strategy; the management of international organisational change; the analysis of business structures; doing business in Europe; international capital and trade flows.

Assessment methods

Assessment is by a dissertation.
