Business Analytics (Operational Research and Risk Analysis)

The course equips students with the analytical approaches, methodologies and tools to structure and analyse problem situations to improve the decision-making processes and outcomes in industry, business and the public sector; the approach is to consider the application of analytical methodologies and tool kits to common problem areas across business and management, using case studies, individual and team-consulting based assignments and software tools.

Entry requirements

We normally look for a First or Upper Second class honours (2:1) degree from a UK university or the overseas equivalent, in a quantitative subject such as mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, computing, management science or economics.

If English is not your first language, you are required to take an English language test to prove your level of proficiency. Assessment methods

Assessment is by a combination of coursework and examination.
