English Studies (Contemporary Literature and Culture)
This course allows students to take full advantage of the Centre for New Writing's resources, expertise and programme of visiting speakers. They will have access to prominent writers both on the staff and appearing at the Centre's public events. Students will also be encouraged to mix with the Centre's MA Creative Writing cohort, allowing a unique and productive dialogue between the creative and the critical.
Applicants should hold an upper 2nd Class Honours degree, or its overseas equivalent, normally in a relevant subject.
Modules include: Contemporary fiction; reading the contemporary; queer cinema; plus optional modules.
