Development Policy and Management

Research activities include research into major issues of development policy and practice including: poverty alleviation; regulation and competition policy; development finance; human resource development; information systems; public sector reform; institutional change; economic and social development; impact assessment and sustainable development; resource management; sustainable livelihoods; and the environment.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree, or the overseas equivalent; students whose 1st language is not English require a score of IELTS 7.0, with a minimum writing score of 7.0, or TOEFL 600 paper-based or 250 computer-based, with a minimum written score of 5.0.

Assessment methods

Assessment is by a research project.
