Planning and Environmental Management

Research areas include: environmental assessment and planning, urban planning and regeneration, urban and regional development, strategic and local planning, and sustainability. Based on an individual skills audit, students may take course units on planning theory, research design process, quantitative and qualitative methodologies, together with course units that support their specific research specialism that are chosen from the suite of graduate programme course units available within planning and environmental management.

Entry requirements

A 1st or 2.1 Honours Bachelors degree (or international equivalent) and relevant postgraduate qualification, generally a Master's degree, with Merit, a minimum grade of 60 per cent in the dissertation and a minimum average grade of 60 per cent in the taught modules (or international equivalent).
