International Politics (International Relations)

The programme aims to provide students with critical grounding in the theory and practice of international politics in an era of globalisation, particularly to those with an interest in the political and ethical issues which arise from current disparities in wealth and power in the international system.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree or overseas equivalent in a social science subject for direct Master's entry; 2.2 Honours degree or overseas equivalent for postgraduate diploma route entry; for applicants whose 1st language is not English: IELTS overall 7, writing score 7; TOEFL overall 623, TWE 5 (PBT); TOEFL overall 263, TWE 5 (CBT) (this test is no longer available but results less than 2 years old can be submitted); TOEFL overall 100, with 25 in each of the 4 sections (IBT).
