Political Science (European Politics and Policy)

The programme combines analytical and conceptual rigour with topical subjects relating to the governance and policies of the European Union and their impact on the domestic politics of its member states; the programme also focuses on processes of Europeanisation both within the context of the EU's existing member states, but also on candidate countries and the EU's neighbours; it has been designed for those who want to combine strong transferable research skills with focused expertise in European politics.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 (or overseas equivalent) in a social science subject for direct Master's entry; for applicants whose 1st language is not English; IELTS overall 7, writing score 7; TOEFL overall 623, TWE 5 (PBT); TOEFL overall 263, TWE 5 (CBT) (this test is no longer available but results less than 2 years old can be submitted); TOEFL overall 100, with 25 in each of the 4 sections (IBT).
