Political Science (Ethics and Political Philosophy)

This course offers a specialisation in ethics and political philosophy. It is particularly suited for students from a PPE, Philosophy, Philosophy and Law and Politics undergraduate programmes (specialising in political theory). This is a course taught by both philosophy and politics discipline areas for high quality students tapping into the exceptionally large and talented group of staff who work in ethics and political philosophy at the university.

Entry requirements

A minimum 2.1 (or overseas equivalent) in a social science subject for direct Master's entry; minimum 2.2 (or overseas equivalent) in a social science subject for postgraduate diploma route entry; for applicants whose 1st language is not English; IELTS overall 7, writing score 7; TOEFL overall 623, TWE 5 (PBT); TOEFL overall 263, TWE 5 (CBT) (this test is no longer available but results less than 2 years old can be submitted); TOEFL overall 100, with 25 in each of the 4 sections (IBT).
