Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Research aims to advance knowledge and improve the quality of patient care by drug development, critical evaluation of clinical practice, undertaking randomised controlled trials, and the preparation and dissemination of best evidence for clinicians; the course allows flexibility within the parameters of the study to allow the research to evolve and instigate findings not envisaged at the outset of the work; yet this is complimented by a dedicated PhD training structure which provides critical skills training, personal development and progression milestones.
Applicants must show evidence of primary dental qualification; relevant research or professional experience is considered; all applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6 in the written component), TOEFL 577 (paper-based), TOEFL 233 (computer-based), TOEFL 90 (internet-based), or Pearson Test 59-65.
