Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics
This programme comprises the diagnosis, management and treatment of missing or worn teeth using fixed and removable prostheses, including implant-supported or stabilised restorations; flexibility is allowed within the parameters of the study to allow the research to evolve and instigate findings not envisaged at the outset of the work; this is complimented by a dedicated PhD training structure which provides critical skills training, personal development and progression milestones.
Applicants require evidence of their primary dental qualification from a recognised institution; for those students whose 1st language is not English, one of the following is required: a minimum IELTS of 6.5 with no less than 6 in the written component; TOEFL 577 paper-based; TOEFL 233 computer-based; TOEFL 90 iBT; Pearson Test 59-65.
Assessment includes: Research methods component; biostatistics component.
Assessment is by a research project.
