Investigative Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences

This course is organised as a series of 7 course units, which is then followed by a research project.

Entry requirements

An Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in ophthalmology, optometry, orthoptics, psychology, physiology, biochemistry, medical sciences, or related subjects; English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 575 (paper-based) or 230 (computer based).

Course modules

Modules include: Research methods; genetics of eye disease and development; fundamentals of vision; statistical and mathematical techniques; corneal physiology and contact lenses; pathophysiology and management of ophthalmic disease; investigative techniques in ophthalmic diagnosis.
