Applicants are normally required to have an Upper Second degree or above. Relevant experience and/or employment within a health or social care setting is highly desirable. Applicants with a Lower Second classification will be considered on a case by case basis depending on their experience.
Students must also have GCSE Mathematics and GCSE English grade C or above at the time of application.
We do not accept qualifications at level 2 as equivalents to GCSE English or Maths, and will only consider international and pre-GCSE qualifications as equivalents.
IELTS overall score of 7 or above with no element below 6.5, or - TOEFL
inimum of 600 (paper-based); 250 (computer-based); 100 (internet-based), or
GCSE English grade C (a Grade 4 in the newly reformed GCSEs in England) or above, or
evidence of equivalent learning that is accepted by the University.

Social Work with Adults, Families, Children and Young People
10 days professional skills development
100 day placement; Dissertation
A range of methods have been selected to inform the assessment of different learning outcomes: essays, case studies, group presentations, and other formats may be used. You will be assessed for your readiness for direct practice (ARDP) prior to commencing your first practice placement, and will be assessed at the end of your first and final practice placements.
