Pharmaceutical Industrial Advanced Training

The course is developed in partnership with the pharmaceutical industry, the programme is designed for scientists and managers working in the pharmaceutical industry in the fields of product development, manufacturing and quality assurance; the programme is administered by the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences which obtained the highest ratings available in recent teaching and research assessments.

Entry requirements

A 1st degree in a relevant discipline; some advanced level knowledge in chemistry and maths, plus work experience in the pharmaceutical industry required for some modules; IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based).

Course modules

Modules include: Industrial pharmacy; clinical trials; toxicology; pharmaceutical business development and licensing; pharmaceutical microbiology.
