Deaf Education

This programme results in the TTA-recognised mandatory qualification for those who want to teach the deaf.

Entry requirements

MSc

All applicants must hold qualified teacher status or its equivalent. The course is also available to those who are qualified to work in further education.
Those wishing to take the additional research module to top up to an MSc should have undertaken the PG Diploma in Deaf Education within the last three years. For students joining the course on this basis the duration will be one year part time.

PgDip
