Neuroimaging for Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience

This MSc in Neuroimaging for Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience offers an in-depth grounding in cutting-edge cognitive neuroscience techniques and their application to research in clinical and cognitive neuroscience. These techniques include neuroimaging (MRI, fMRI, DTI and PET), electrophysiology (EEG and MEG), and neurostimulation (TMS and tDCS). You will learn about the theory behind cognitive, social, behavioural, and clinical neuroscience through lectures and seminars led by experts in the field. Practical data analysis skills and functional neuroanatomy are taught through a combination of lectures and hands-on lab sessions using the latest neuroimaging software.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree (or overseas equivalent) in a science subject (physics; neuroscience; maths; engineering; psychology; medicine; computer science); plus a personal statement (not over 300 words).tudents whose first language is not English are required to hold one of the following:
IELTS 7.0 including 7.0 in the Writing section
TOEFL 600 paper based
TOEFL 250 computer based
TOEFL 100 Internet based

Course modules

Course Units include: neuroimaging techniques, functional neuroanatomy, image analysis, experimental design and optimisation, advanced image analysis, cognitive psychology for clinical neuroscience, cognitive and social neuroscience, clinical and behavioural neuroscience.
