This programme will give applicants the unique opportunity to consider the most exciting current problems in cell biology under the guidance of leading experts in cell biology; applicants will gain training and experience in the concepts and techniques used in cutting edge research in cell biology and it's application in widespread fields of research.
A 1st or 2.1 Honours degree, or the overseas equivalent, in a biological or medical sciences discipline; for applicants whose 1st language is not English an IELTS score of 6.5 in each component, TOEFL 577 (paper based), TOEFL 233 (computer based) or TOEFL 90 (internet based) is required as a minimum.
Modules include: Tutorial and workshop; research placement 1; research placement 2; communication skills; scientific communication; statistics and experimental design; pgt advisor meeting 2; pgt advisor meeting 3; pgt advisor meeting 4 (placement 2).
Assessment is by a research project.
