Education Management and Leadership
This programme is designed for managers and leaders in a variety of educational settings including: schools, government offices and NGOs. Through this course, students explore the nature of leadership and management in educational settings. Study support groups provide an opportunity for students to be given structured advice about their assignments and practical help with organising their work, conducting literature searches and managing their reading. These support groups additionally allow students an opportunity to work in teams with other students on the course and with the support of experienced researchers.

Applicants with other qualifications, in particular those with recent professional experience will be considered on an individual basis. Modules include: perspectives on leadership; approaches to leadership; coaching and mentoring; research methods; thesis.
The course assessment involves essays, portfolios, presentations and small scale research projects. Students complete their final dissertation on a topic negotiated with a tutor.
