This postgraduate qualification allows students to study computer networks in greater depth as well as developing their research and analytical skills whilst undertaking their own individual thesis project investigating an area of particular interest. Students are able to utilise our facilities ensuring you are exposed to cutting edge technology and are able to pursue their specialist interests. While primarily having a technological focus, this pathway also provides an awareness of the business context, encourages development of interpersonal skills which can make a vital contribution to problem solving in business. This course provides students with the opportunity to work towards professional qualifications such as the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) as part of their studies. We have developed this course to be studied around other commitments and students may only need to attend the university for 2 days per week.
