Law in Legal Practice
This course is designed for qualified lawyers seeking to deepen their subject knowledge and enhance their career prospects, either as legal practitioners or within a legal environment in non governmental organisations (NGOs) or government. This course develops analytical, evaluative and research skills and provide students with an opportunity to undertake an individual piece of original research. Students benefit from a dedicated team of lecturers who have commercial and professional law backgrounds, as well as substantial teaching experience on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Applicants must have successfully completed the legal practice course or bar vocational course.
Modules: research methods; dissertation.
Formal course assessment is based on 2 research proposals and the dissertation.
