The MA consists of a training course in research methodology (library, archival, bibliographical and presentation skills) and a course of directed study under the supervision of a member of staff's experienced research team leading to a 30000-word dissertation; all postgraduate students undertake the generic research training modules offered by the Graduate School.

Entry requirements

2.1 (or international equivalent) in an arts, humanities or social science subject. For PhD-level study, applicants should hold, or be working towards a Master's degree in a relevant subject. IELTS 7.0 (no less than 6.5 in any element).
