Entry requirements

For MPhil: upper 2nd Class Honours degree in theology required, and appropriate language(s). For PhD: normally Master's degree with thesis in theology with appropriate ancient and modern language an advantage. English language requirements: IELTS 7.0 (no less than 6.5 in any element).

Course modules

Areas of research include: Old Testament prophets; synoptic Gospels; music in the New Testament; Pauline theology; philosophical theology; philosophy of religion; systematic theology; historical theology; science and theology; theology and literature.

Sponsorship information

Occasionally: Langham Trust, or Whitefield Institute (Theology) or Tyndale Fellowship for Biblical Research, Cambridge, will part-sponsor candidates.
