Modern Languages

This course gives students the opportunity to study 2 modern languages at Master's level. Students undertake a training course in research methodology and presentation and 2 courses of supervised guided reading in agreed fields of study within the School of Cultures, Languages and Area Studies.

Entry requirements

Applicants normally hold a degree in the 2 modern languages to be studied at Master's level; international applicants should normally be fluent in English as demonstrated by IELTS.

Assessment methods

Dissertation of 30000 words.
