Research is based around microwave processing, waste water treatment, greenhouse gases, removal of pollutants in water and soils, as well as many other aspects.
Applicants for PhD programmes are generally required to hold an Honours degree at 2.1 level or above (or international equivalent) in an appropriate subject; candidates are generally required to submit a research proposal with their applications; International English Language Testing System (IELTS) [Academic version] 6.0 with no less than 5 in any one element; Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) :Paper version: 550 with a minimum of 4.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE); Internet-based version: 79 with no less than 17 in any one element.
