Geomechanics

Issues across the full range of geotechnical engineering areas are available for research, including: centrifuge modelling, constitutive and numerical modelling, laboratory and in situ testing, soil and rock structure interaction, transportation geotechnics, underground excavation and tunnelling.

Entry requirements

2.1 Honours degree or equivalent; IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.0 in any element) or TOEFL with a score of 550 in the paper-based test and 4.0 in the Test of Written English or 213 in the computer-based test with 4.0 in essay rating, for those whose 1st language is not English.
