Human Factors

Research focusing on the multidisciplinary research spanning studies of the interaction between humans, machines and technology to develop the products and systems that we use every day; MPhil/PhD projects are specialised research projects defined in conjunction with supervisors and can cover many different fields within this discipline, for example design, manufacturing, assembly, measurement, testing and modelling.

Entry requirements

2.1 Honours degree or an equivalent qualification in an appropriate engineering or applied science subject; IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.0 in any element) or TOEFL with a score of 550 in the paper-based test and 4.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE) or 213 in the computer-based test with 4.0 in essay rating, for those whose 1st language is not English.
