Advanced Genomic and Proteomic Sciences

The course enhances awareness and understanding of modern molecular biology concepts and techniques including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, metabolomics and systems biology; it also translates theoretical knowledge gained from the course into practical experience via intensive laboratory research projects that are particularly applicable to industry.

Entry requirements

Upper 2nd Class or above BSc Honours degree in mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology, computer science or a medical qualification; applicants with relevant industry experience without a degree qualification may be considered; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 560, CB TOEFL 220 or TOEFL iBT 79.
