Brewing (Principles and Practice)

The course is designed for individuals in the brewing and allied industries who would like to improve their understanding of the scientific principles and practice of the brewing process; it is also highly suitable for those aspiring to a career as a practical brewer.

Entry requirements

2.2 (or international equivalent) in a relevant subject. English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any element).

Course modules

Core modules: raw materials for brewing; brewhouse processes; brewery yeast management; fermentation and yeast handling; beer maturation and filtration.

Assessment methods

Assessment is based on an examination.
